#MyUnseenCity is a competition run by Brompton.  The contest ran from November of 2015 to March 31 of this year.

All that was required to enter was to upload an Instagram video of your city using the hashtag #MyUnseenCity and tag @BromptonBicycle. First place receives a stunning Black Edition Bike, and a weekend in London with a free entry to theBrompton World Championship.  Second and Third place also win a Black Edition Bike.

The star studded judging panel is led by film industry pioneer and Director Guy Ritchie along side Warner Brothers MD Josh Berger, Executive Producer of Harry Potter Lionel Wigram and Brompton CEO Will Butler-Adams.

This video is my entry.  It was shot on the second row of the Bicycle flat at Central Station in Amsterdam.  I attached aGoPro to my Brompton and simply rode it down the level.  The song is a piano cover of the Pixies “Where is my mind.”  Although the lyrics I had in my head was where is my bike.

The competition received a ton of entries.  While I didn’t make the shortlist, it was an interesting venture into shooting video and it’s given me taste for some experimentation in the future.  Follow this link see the winners along with a quick round from the best from each country.
