If a tree falls in a city and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
Well the question isn’t really paradox as there are always people in the city. Severe winds of late in The Netherlands have transformed windmills into jet engine propulsion systems while uprooting trees across the country.
A falling tree in Amsterdam would likely be accompanied by sounds of a tire pop, snapping spokes, cracking steel tubes and the odd chime of a bicycle bell.
